X6 - Series

Optocore X6 Series

The 16 audio channel CONVERTER UNITS of the X6-series were developed to be inserted to the optical fibre network system via a DIGITAL I/O UNIT DD32. By this means, up to four converter modules can be served by one DD32, summing to at least 64 analog in- or outputs. The devices may also be used as high-quality AD and DA converter units for non OPTOCORE applications.

 

The X6P series microphone preamps feature 1dB step control – not digitally calculated, but implemented in a fully analog form. This means an optimum signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR) for any gain step and a massive improvement in overall SNR performance.

Optocore YG2 YS2

The main card YG2 includes the "heart of Optocore" allowing direct connection of Yamaha consoles to the OPTOCORE ® OPTICAL DIGITAL NETWORK SYSTEM. According to the Yamaha miniYGDAI standard, the YG2 features 16In/16Out audio channels through the console slot. The front panel offers two fibre connections, 10/100MBit Ethernet transport, RS232/USB for Optocore Software and 2x RS422 for transporting of Yamaha Remote Protocol to AD8HR. Additional daughter boards YS2 can be connected via CAT5 cables using the RJ45 "SUB" port, to enlarge the number of audio channel up to 64In/64Out (32In/32Out @ 96kHz).

PTP32E

With a couple of PTP32E it is now possible to connect STAGE and FOH in the easiest and most cost effective way. PTP32E is the point to point version of its "network brother" DD32E. Each device can only be set as ID1 or ID2 and cannot be used in the OPTOCORE DIGITAL NETWORK SYSTEM.
