Motorised Stage Platforms

There has always been a need in the entertainment environment to move large, heavy and complex equipment and performers around the stage in a horizontal or vertical plane before, during and after a show.

Chairs, scenery, pianos and other equipment that is typically stored under the stage needs to be elevated to the stage height before the show, then removed and stored after the show.

The orchestra pit and choral riser are typically built as a moving stage in order to elevate the orchestra to different altitudes as required by the producer and to also add to the overall downstage area should a production not require musicians.

The movement of stage wagons and scenery around during a performance is often required to enhance the production value of a performance.

Safety, smooth and silent operation with predictable and repeatable stop/start positioning are critical elements required in stage machinery for the modern production.
