Solution 3: School Theatre


For this type of venue the facilities generally, in terms of lighting, audio and staging, are more elaborate to facilitate the undertaking of more complex performances. Typically this type of venue will be equipped with winched lighting bars, a complement of dimmers, theatrical luminaires together with a left, centre and right sound system complete with subwoofer.

The stage will be equipped with a complement of stage drapes including legs, borders, motorised front of house drapes, cord operated mid stage drape and a cyclorama located upstage.

To cater for school assemblies and other presentations generally, these types of venues are typically equipped both with an easy to operate audio system together with a performance orientated sound system, the latter designed to allow the faithful reproduction of music.

These types of venues often feature an orchestra pit together with a motorised stage lift.
