Jands Vista v2 Online Training Series

This is our first ever video series! This ten part Vista v2 Training Series, with each episode of no more than 10 minutes in length, will teach users on a variety of topics including patching, cue lists, presets and effects, giving every Vista user the skills to create their own professional lighting productions, easily and quickly using our unique brand of lighting control.

In this episode, Introducing the Interface, we will walk you through the Vista v2 Interface and teach you how to access the software's operational modes and a few tricks to guide you around the console.

In episode 2, Patching, it's time to get your fixtures into your show and assigned to a DMX address so that you can start creating. Patching in Vista, like everything else we do, is extremely visual and designed to be simple and effortless.

In episode 3, Fixture Chooser and Layouts, we look at creating and modifying the fixture chooser layouts to create the most efficient means for you to program your show.

In episode 4, Controlling Fixtures, it is now time to program your fixtures and get those amazing looks you have been thinking of. This is where you will see the Vista v2 software start to work for you. Itís so easy to create complex and impressive lighting looks using Vista v2!

In episode 5, Groups and Presets, we now start to look at creating the components of the show, the building blocks that will allow us to easily build our show!

For the previous videos we have only been working with the live tab, but now we'll start to see cuelist tabs open up and we'll have to move between them in episode 6, Storing Cues and Cuelists.

In episode 7, The Timeline, we can now drill into the most powerful tool in the creation of your show. By using the timeline you can easily see the events in your cues, laid out over a period of time, and visually perceive how you have changed the look on stage before you play them back.
