How Do Crowd Mics Work For Moderators?

Control your event by selecting speakers, disabling microphones, and conducting real-time polls.

  • No waiting for a wireless microphone to be passed around!
  • If the conversation goes off-topic, the moderator can deactivate and attendee’s microphone any time.
  • Create audience polls in real time and publish results on the room’s display.

The Brains Of The Operation

Crowd Mics is comprised of two apps, one for event attendees and one for moderators, and a small, pre-configured hardware host device called the ATOM.

The small but mighty ATOM serves as the central connection point between the attendee and moderator apps and the room’s AV system.

The ATOM supports four ways to output audio to the room:

• 3.5mm jack (unbalanced)
• Euroblock connector (balanced)
• HDMI embedded audio
• USB audio

Optionally, you can connect the ATOM to the room’s displays via HDMI if you want to project poll results or other event content.
